ADMISSION
Applications will be processed as they are received, but acceptance letters will go out two weeks after each deadline. Teacher assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum number of lessons a student can receive with a specific teacher is two (2), but only upon availability.
Qualified applicants will be admitted based on their curriculum vitae, recording sample (at least two contrasting works, 20 - 30 minutes in duration), educational background and professional experience.
No more than 65 applicants will be accepted.
TUITION
ACTIVE: 1500 Euros
ACTIVE TUITION FOR SPANISH CITIZENS: 800 Euros
AUDITOR: 300 Euros
Tuition for ACTIVE students includes 5 private lessons, unlimited attendance at all other students’ lessons, free admission to all recitals, concerts and master classes. AUDITORS are welcome to attend all lessons and above events.
Tuition, payable in Euros, must be sent by bank transfer to the bank account of the festival. Account details, bank account numbers, international routing codes, etc., will be sent out upon notification of acceptance. Account details are below:
Returning Student Discount
Returning students who have attended the Gijon International Piano Festival in past editions will receive a discount of 50 EUROS.
Early Decision Discount
Students who apply by December 15 and make full tuition payment before February 15, 2024 will receive a 50 EURO discount.
Auditors are not eligible for these discounts.
Please note: Spanish students are only eligible for ONE discount, due to their already reduced tuition.
PLEASE NOTE: TUITION IS NOT REFUNDABLE. Full tuition payment is due June 1, 2024.
